The fourth Generations For Peace camp held in Amman from June 1-10, 2009, proved to be a resounding success with 70 delegates from 15 countries engaging in 10 days of peace building.
The delegates travelled in from Bangladesh, Iraq, Jordan, Nigeria, Pakistan (Swat Valley), Palestine, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Yemen, as well as first time participants Zambia, Gambia, Burundi, Senegal and Nepal.
The camp welcomed support from the International Softball Federation, National Basketball Association as well as Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club who worked with professionals in conflict resolution for an enlightening curriculum.
