The Generations for Peace Arab League workshop took place in Amman, Jordan from November 2 - 4, 2008. The purpose of the workshop was to introduce participants to the Generations For Peace key messages and values and to spread awareness of the initiative.
The countries represented were Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Algeria, Tunisia, Comoros, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Palestine, in addition to Jordan, the host.
The three-day camp included sessions on leadership; values of sport; sport and peace; social inclusion; working with children; and project management. A total of 26 participants from 13 Arab countries attended.
